The Tutoring Center

NOVA provides tutoring services at no cost to students who are actively enrolled in courses.  Students are allowed two hours of tutoring per week, per course. We offer both in-person and virtual tutoring via Zoom. For in-person appointments, we are located on the main level of the Reynolds building (LR-205).  We look forward to assisting you!

Click this link to see a list of all the classes we currently offer! This list is updated whenever we get new tutors so if you do not see your course right now, keep checking back with us. Additionally, you are free to travel to other NOVA's campuses for tutoring if needed based on tutor availability.

The Writing Center

The Writing Center’s tutoring services can be accessed via appointment through EAB Navigate. Our office is located in the Loudoun Campus Reynolds Building in room 206.

At the Writing Center, our goal is to help students become improved, more independent writers. We hope to help you with your most important problems, so you can recognize and avoid them in the future.

In order to help you succeed, we offer advice from consultants who have been successful with their own writing and want to help you with yours.

We are available for help with any kind of writing, including essays for class, creative writing, speeches, cover letters, résumés, and transfer applications. We provide handouts on topics ranging from thesis statements to résumés to research papers, and we are happy to answer most questions about organization, form, mechanics, and other concerns.

At the Writing Center, we offer suggestions and opinions about work, not demands. All decisions are yours.
